Advertising and editorial standards
This site follows the hospital’s editorial rules and the applicable rules on medical advertising. It is written as patient education, and its purpose is to help a patient reach an informed decision rather than to promote a treatment.
Claims we do not make
We do not claim that any treatment is risk-free, painless or permanent where it is not. We do not promise a specific result, a specific number of sessions, a specific duration of effect, or a particular improvement in appearance. We do not state a price, a discount or a package, and we do not describe an injectable as a substitute for an operation it cannot replace.
Substances and devices
Where a class of medicine or device is mentioned on this site it is named by its class rather than by any brand, and no dose or volume is given. Anything administered must be selected and given by a qualified clinician for an individual patient, in a setting equipped to manage a complication.
Named clinicians
Doctors are named only with the credentials and the scope of practice already published by Chongqing West District Hospital elsewhere on its own sites. No case volume, award, ranking or result is invented for this site, and this site does not publish patient testimonials.
Review and correction
Each page carries the name of its medical reviewer and the date of last review. Substantive corrections update that date. If you believe a statement here is inaccurate or misleading, raise it through the contact page so it can be reviewed and corrected.
